October 17, 2005, "pro-poor China will launch large-scale public welfare activities and help the poor people's livelihood Education Fund signing ceremony" was held in the Great Hall of the People. Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier Hui Liangyu attended the ceremony and himself as "pro-poor China," started opening large-scale public welfare activities. As a "pro-poor China," the first large-scale public events co-sponsored units, the Minsheng Bank of China to China's poverty alleviation Foundation donated 31 million yuan to set up "China Minsheng Bank anti-poverty fund education", the education in poor areas to support pro-poor projects. It is understood that this is by far the largest of China's private enterprises charity donation.
